I hold a Masters degree in clinical Psychology, Department of Educational Psychology at University of Calgary, and have behind me over  40 years of practical experience as a professional Christian counsellor. ​I am a Registered Psychotherapist who is skilled in using: Listening Prayer Therapy, Emotionally-focused therapy (EFT) including Journey Work (by Brandon Bays) and EMDR (Eye movement Desensitization and Reprocessing using bilateral stimulation ). 

My primary job as your therapist is to guide your life journey. To help identify and slay the dragons on your path.  My hope is that working with me you will experience successful life transitions and gain the capacity for an enhanced life. Our dragons are dysfunctional personality patterns.

Focus. My focus is on transforming core beliefs, healing significant memories and traumas so as to reduce anxiety and depression, producing a healthier way of living so that you can enjoy loving relationships and achieve enhanced performance.  My process achieves freedom from symptoms of PTSD, panic disorder, and social anxiety. 

Effectiveness: Clients are consistently satisfied with their sessions. If they have experienced other therapists, clients rank me as much more helpful and satisfying than their previous therapists. My effectiveness seems to be increasing.

Evidence suggests that focus on short-term behaviour change does not produce permanent change in emotional learning but the methods I use do produce real long-tern changes. Clients have. been quite surprised at how quick some issues are dealt with.

Personality patterns is another target of my psychotherapy and understanding them is one of my super powers! Major personality change is possible and, realistically, will take time and commitment.
